Protect yourself against opportunistic theft

The police are looking to clampdown on opportunistic crimes - after a spate in the last few weeks.
Seasonal fuel theft is rife yet again with a number of reports of items taken from business premises.
Crime prevention officer Mike Radcliffe says police see the same types of incidents year on year.
Although it’s the responsibility of the constabulary to catch the individuals involved - he's calling on the public to ensure their properties and goods are well secured:
