Novembers 50 metre handicap Match at Sinclair was shot in difficult weather conditions and no one appeared to be able to master the very tricky wind which was gusting in a circular motion between the netting. Top gun score went to John Wood finishing with a 575 from Andy Potter on 574 but once the handicap had been introduced, second on count-back, went to Tony Kneale. The remaining shooters score were well below par in almost all instances. The Raynor Cup, the last Isle of Man Shooting Club summer competition, was held concurrently with the handicap match. The Raynor Cup is a blind pair’s scratch match, where the pairs are drawn after the shoot has commenced and a convincing win went to teenager, Illiam Christian and Will Jones on 1132 with Nick Brown and Tony Kneale in second slot on 1118.
