The president of the Isle of Man Trades Union Council says bus drivers have been backed into a corner.
Andrew Shipley heads up the council which is made up of a number of unions and says it’s supporting the drivers who are on their third day of strike action.
Drivers have been on strike since Thursday leaving the public reliant on a skeleton bus service and school children having to get the steam or electric railway to school.
Mr Shipley says any form of industrial action is a last resort and blames the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure for failing to negotiate properly:
