The December sitting of Tynwald will get underway today but it’s unlikely to be as controversial as once expected.
A vote on tuition fees has now been deferred until the start of the New Year meaning politicians will not debate the issue today.
It will however crop up in Question Time with Garff MHK Steve Rodan asking for statistics about student debt over the last five years.
There are 27 questions on the order paper today – 14 for oral answer and 13 for written.
Onchan MHK Zac Hall wants to know about the number of homes being repossessed and MLC Alex Downie wants statistics for prosecutions brought against people with non roadworthy vehicles.
Castletown MHK Richard Ronan will also ask about the police station on Lord Street in Douglas to determine what the long term future plans for the building are.
