Noble’s Hospital is launching a new programme for staff which aims to boost service throughout the hospital.
The initiative is called ‘CARE’, which stands for Communicate, Ask, Respond and Evaluate.
It focuses on issues such as patients feeling safe and secure, having enough to eat and drink, and being involved in the care they’re given.
During the process patients will be asked specific questions every two hours, which give an insight on how procedures can be improved.
The Department of Health claims this reduces the risk of social isolation for patients and ensures good communication.
