It was evident in this week’s sitting of Tynwald that the introduction of a Freedom of Information act may not come as quickly as some would have hoped.
Policy issues have been cited as the delays to the plans, which Chief Minister Allan Bell has previously given his full support to.
Someone who has campaigned tirelessly for its introduction is Roger Tomlinson, the man behind the Positive Action Group.
He said although disappointing it won’t slow down their efforts as they continue to fight for its swift introduction:
