The Isle of Man is having to batten down the hatches today with heavy downpours and thunder storms forecast.
Rainfall so far this morning has amounted to 10 to 15mm with more expected.
There have been flooding issues reported around the Island with engineers on the scene currently, no roads as yet have been described as impassable however.
The rain is expected to ease off slightly this afternoon picking up again in the early evening getting heavier overnight.
The strong winds and high tides will also cause waves to splash over onto exposed promenades, potentially causing flooding in those areas.
Motorists are urged to drive with caution and only make essential journeys later on.
