A police appeal has been launched following an act of theft and criminal damage to a white Citroen Relay van belonging to Age Concern.
It happened sometime between 7pm on Thursday and 8am on Friday of last week whilst the van was parked off road on South Quay, Douglas.
The van had a number of exterior black plastic bump strips removed, with damage caused to the front grill and bonnet so access could be gained to the engine, where two diesel fuel injectors where removed.
Police say it would appear the vehicle was deliberately targeted.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Lord Street Police Station.
