Both the Attorney General and the Deputy Assessor of Income Tax have appeared in court this morning charged with conspiring to commit an act against public justice.
On top of this Attorney General Stephen Harding faces five other charges relating to perjury and forgery.
Colin Goodwin, the Deputy Assessor of Income Tax also faces two additional charges of committing an act against public justice.
Both men spoke only to confirm their names in court earlier, they were each bailed at the sum of £1000.
The only condition of their bail is that they don’t discuss the case with witnesses before their next appearance set for November 21st.
