Yesterday saw the inquests into the deaths of the two riders who lost their lives in the recent Manx Grand Prix.
The court heard how Irish racer Trevor Ferguson was pronounced dead at the scene after coming off his machine along Bemahague Road in Onchan on the 29th August.
60 year old Douglas man Steven Osborne died following a crash during a qualifying race on the 24th August.
He suffered a serious injury to his pelvis and died following a cardiac arrest in the ambulance on the way to Nobles hospital.
The coroner of inquests John Needham expressed his sympathies to both of the men’s families.
