Coins stolen in Peel burglary

Police are investigating after a house in Peel was burgled last week.

It happened on Friday night and a number of items were taken, including a small wooden box full of coins.

Officers are also appealing for witnesses who may have seen or heard anything unusual at that time, in particular the areas of North View, St German's Place and Glenfaba Road.

Two young men were seen in the Queen’s Drive/North View area around 4.15am on Saturday.

The police are asking them to come forward as they may have information which could help.
