Witnesses sought to bizarre car key theft

Police are looking into an incident which occurred on Derby Road in Douglas on Wednesday 15th August.

 

At approximately 8.10pm a group of between five and eight males in their late teens and early twenties approach a Silver Audi A4 whilst stopped on Derby Road.

Two males from the gang attempted to get into the car from the driver’s side and passenger side, whilst the driver was still in the vehicle.

 

They then swiped the keys from the vehicle before making off along Glen Falcon Terrace out of view.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.
