The maximum speed for buses on the Island's roads could be increased.
Infrastructure officials are looking at changing the current limit from 40mph to 50mph on some routes.
The public is being asked whether or not a 12 month trial should be carried out.
The routes where the limit could be raised include Greeba to Peel, Ballasalla to the Spring Valley Roundabout and the Onchan to Ramsey coast road.
It could also apply on the Mountain for single-decker buses only.
Director of Highways Richard Pearson says issue was raised by the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure.[play media file below]
