A passenger watchdog says the Steam Packet's concerns over windfarms are real and there's no scaremongering going on.
The ferry company is unhappy about the site for Centrica's proposed development as it would affect the Liverpool and Heysham routes and threaten services.
TravelWatch has now looked into the matter and agrees with the Steam Packet that building a windfarm in the established shipping route would be a bad thing for Island passengers.
The watchdog is submitting its views on the plans to the energy company.
