The Chief Minister has said he is disappointed that the Scope of Government report was brought up once again in the House of Keys this week.
East Douglas MHK Brenda Cannell asked when the Council of Ministers would reach a determination on the latest supplementary report.
She also wanted to know when it would be laid before Tynwald for debate.
Mr Bell said he had made it clear that both parts of the report would be brought forward at the June sitting - but warned that the debate could continue for several months before any firm recommendations were made.
He said there was no quick fix to the suggestions that had been made and said the Island couldn’t carry on as it has done.
