Planning system has held back economic growth says Bell

The Chief Minister says there's no question that the Island's planning system has held back economic growth at times over the last few years.

In the House of Keys today, Allan Bell was asked to make a statement on his promise to shake-up planning.

The Ministers for Infrastructure and Economic development have been asked to review the system and report back as soon as possible.

Mr Bell says the Island needs to raise its game to make sure we win our share of new economic opportunities.
