The government is announcing a £95,000 makeover for Wellington Street in Douglas.
It's part of the regeneration project.
The money will be spent on replacing the narrow road and footway between the Slug and Lettuce Pub and Market Street.
It will have a similar finish to Upper-Nelson Street which was refurbished at the end of last year.
Over the next 12 months, regeneration works will be carried out on the remainder of Wellington Street, Lower Nelson Street and Duke Street.
During the next phase of work, pedestrians and delivery vehicles will be able to access shops and businesses on Wellington Street from the bottom junction, although the top part of the road will be closed.
