Biker sustains serious injuries in St John's crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash at St John's in which a motorcyclist sustained serious injuries.

The biker was riding a turquoise and silver Kawasaki on the A3 Curragh Road from Ballacraine towards the Hope when they collided with a black Ford Focus which had been driving along the Kennaa Road just before 2.00pm on Saturday.

The bike rider was taken to Noble's following the crash.

The road was closed for around four hours whilst police carried out investigations.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw the crash, or saw either of the vehicles involved immediately before the collision.
