Steam Packet warns of delay to docking at Heysham

Passengers on this morning's sailing to Heysham could be held up when they get to the port if the weather conditions haven't improved.

The Steam Packet Company has put the Ben-my-Chree crossing back to 10.00am to allow more time for gusts to die down.

The vessel is now expected into Heysham at 1.30pm.

The Ben currently has a manoeuvrability problem due to a broken bow thruster.

The return at 2.15pm has been put back to 2.45pm, but it's hoped this evening's service will operate as scheduled.
