Government to review housing policy

Social Care Minister Chris Robertshaw
A hike in public sector rents is the first in a number of potential changes to the government's housing policy.
It was announced today that rent will go up by 10% next April.
That's double the normal annual increase.
The Department of Social Care says the money it's getting from rent isn't meeting the annual housing costs and this has left a shortfall of around £7m this year.
Minister Chris Robertshaw says this increase is a pre-cursor to a full review in the New Year.[Play media file below]
