Police search for stolen trailer

Police are investigating after a trailer was stolen from Harris Terrace in Douglas.

The two-wheeled box trailer was taken between the evening of Saturday 22nd October, and the early hours of last Monday morning.

The trailer has a wooden base with silver coloured metal sides and is believed to have had flat tyres.

Officers are keen to speak to a man seen carrying a foot pump in the area at around 10.00am on Friday 21st October.

He's around 5 foot 11, of medium build, with white hair and a beard, and is thought to be in his late 50s or 60s

Witnesses say a man matching his description often seen in the area driving a 4x4 Isuzu vehicle towing a trailer similar to that which was stolen, and was seen in the area around the time of the theft.

Anyone who can help find the trailer or identify the men is asked to contact Police Headquarters
