Gas leak closes part of Broadway

Emergency repairs are taking place after a gas leak in Douglas.

Clifton Terrace on Broadway has been closed from it's junction with Victoria Road to the entrance to Hutchinson Square.

From tomorrow, parking in the area will be suspended until Tuesday next week.

Manx Gas says the repairs are unavoidable and that the situation could not have left unattended.

The company says it will make every effort to complete the work as soon as possible to reduce the inconvenience to motorists.
