3 injured in Southern 100 crash

A rider, a marshal and a spectator were hospitalised after a crash at the Southern 100 last night.

Dave Taylor and Dan Sayle were involved in the collision at Billown Dip during the 600CC race.

Sayle was unhurt, but Taylor was taken to Noble's with fractures.

A flag marshal sustained leg fractures in the same incident, and a spectator picked up an eye injury.

The race was red flagged and racing abandoned for the evening whilst investigations were carried out by the police.
