The controversial plans for an all-Island taxi licence have been delayed in Tynwald.
Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne informed the Presdient of Tynwald this morning that the Bill which would bring in the licence needs to be temporarily delayed.
A public consultation received a positive response, but some cabbies have been unhappy at the plans, believing it will mean more work for them.
Earlier, a number of the Island's taxi drivers staged a protest outside Tynwald.
No reason has been given for the delay.
