More passengers through Douglas in January

Passenger numbers at Douglas Harbour saw an increase during January.

 

The latest figures from the Harbours Division show 2.8% more passengers passed through Douglas in January this year compared to the same month in 2010.

 

A 5.6% increase in vehicle traffic was recorded.

 

Almost 700 more people travelled on the Steam Packet's Heysham route, however the Birkenhead route saw over 200 fewer travellers.
