No truth to rumours MRSA has been found at pool say staff

Staff at the Ramsey swimming pool want to put a stop to rumours that MRSA has been found at the facilty.

It follows recent news the a new strain of the super bug has been found on the Isle of Man.

It affects young fit and healthy people and can be picked up in gyms, pools, spas and sports centres.

The Department of Health urged people not to alarmed by the news.

Workers at the Ramsey pool say gossip that the bug has been found there is nonsense and they're open and functioning as normal.
