Supermodel Elle Macpherson has won a £2.5million court case against the liquidators of Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander Isle of Man.
A company owned by Miss Macpherson owed the bank £7.8million through a mortgage, whilst the Australian had around £2.5million deposited in the bank when it collapsed in October 2008.
Miss Macpherson, known as "the Body", wanted to off-set her deposits against the amount owed by her company Lighthouse Living.
The Manx-registered company was set up so the model could purchase a house in the UK but keep the address private.
PricewaterhouseCoopers, the liquidators for KSF, wanted Lighthouse Living to clear its debt separately from Miss Macpherson's funds.
Deemster Moran ruled in favour of Lighthouse Living and Miss Macpherson
