Breast Cancer figures to be discussed by Ministers

East Douglas MHK Brenda Cannell is to ask the Health Minister about breast cancer figures at next week's House of Keys.

Mrs Cannell is not convinced that the Island's women are getting the best care possible on the Island and is pushing for a review of current procedures.

A group of former breast cancer sufferers on the Island have set up a meeting to be held on the 1st of December to discuss levels of care on the Island

The meeting will take place in the meeting room of the Manor Public House on Wednesday 1st December at 8pm.

The purpose of the meeting is to consider whether people with Breast Cancer on the Island are recieving sufficient servce and how services could be improved.
