The high court in Dublin is expected to approve a scheme today that will see Aer Arann come out of examinership.
The move will safeguard over 500 jobs that had been in jeopardy.
The company have announced investment from the current owners plus a large investment from the Stobart group, which already owns Southend airport in London.
The airlines chief exec has said "its a very good day for Aer Arann" and "we are very well positioned for the future"
