Thames Valley Police have been granted an extension to question a man believed to have murdered a woman from Laxey.
46 year old Joanna Brown was reported missing by a close friend yesterday, upon breaking into her home in Ascot police found reason to believe that Mrs Brown had died, although no body was present.
Robert Brown, who is in his 40's and from Winkfield in Berks, is believed to Mrs Brown's ex husband and a pilot for British Airways.
Police have until 10pm tonight to either charge or release Mr Brown.
