Driver cut from car after accident

A motorist had to be cut from their vehicle on Sunday after an accident in Ballasalla.

Fire crews were called after the driver became trapped after losing control on Black hill just before midday.

The road was closed for over 2 hours while the casualty was rescued before being taken to hospital.
