Man admits hitting pregnant girlfriend

A man from Port Erin has admitted assaulting his pregnant girlfriend.

29 year old John Andrew Ball pinned the woman to the sofa by her throat and hit her on the side of the head.

When police arrested him he admitted hitting his partner but was unable to explain his behaviour.

Ball was bailed for sentence on November 5th whilst social enquiry reports are compiled
