After almost 5 decades of providing postal services to the Crosby Community the sub post master is retiring.
Dennis Gelling took on the role at Crosby Post Office in 1964, and before that his family had run the office since 1891.
On Wednesday Dennis and his wife Do close their doors for the very last time.
The Isle of Man Post Office have not yet been able to find a replacement to take over the agency but would be delighted to consider any interest shown.
Everyone here at Energy Fm would like to wish Dennis and Do Gelling the very best for the future.
