Chief Minister Tony Brown has today announced another change in the recruitment process for some Crown posts, this time for First and Second Deemsters and the Attorney General.
Up until now the selection panel for these and other positions has been dominated by representatives from the UK.
The move follows the decision in July, that the next Lieutenant Governor would be selected by an entirely local panel.
