GCSE results for Island students
Tue, 24 Aug 2010
Hundreds of the Island's secondary school students will be picking up their GCSE results today.
For many the exam results will be a stepping stone to further education such as A levels or courses at the college.
The results are usually published on a Thursday, but have been brought forward to give pupils more time to make plans if they get unexpected results.
Although students get their grades today, the Department of Education and Children won't publish its summary until Thursday.
