Prosecution completes summing up

The prosecution has delivered its closing statement in the Demense Rd Murder trial .

Roger Farley QC has told the jury that the case for murder is overwhelming, and highlighted the key evidence put forward by the prosecution.

The defence team presented their evidence this morning, consisting of witness and character statements, and are expected to give their closing statement this afternoon.

Simon Paul Leece is accused of starting 4 fires in march of last year, one of which resulted in the death of Terry Losh.

The Jury is expected to retire tomorrow morning to consider its verdict.
