Dunlop brothers set pace in Southern 100

Michael and William Dunlop look set to dominate this year's Southern 100 after impressive displays in practice last night.

Michael Dunlop topped the time sheets in the 1000cc and 600cc class, whilst William topped the 250cc group, and put in strong performances on the 1000cc bike, finishing third and fifth in practice for that class.

Ryan Farquhar, Ian Lougher and Mark Buckley all finished in the top 5 for both 600cc sessions and the two 1000cc practices.

Defending sidecar champions Ian and Carl Bell edged out double TT winners Klaus Klaffenbock and Dan Sayle in the first practice for sidecars.

Racing gets underway at the Billown circuit this evening.
