A 58 year old man has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for a string of child sex offences.
The man was convicted of 20 counts of indecent assault, 9 counts of buggery and 2 counts of rape against 4 victims.
The offences were committed between 1974 and 1984 when the victims were aged 4 to 17.
One of the victims was a boy, the other three were girls.
The court was told the abuse consisted of some of the most degrading sexual acts.
The man, who hasn't been named to protect the identity of his victims, threatened to hurt the victims or shoot their mother if they told anyone about the abuse.
Acting Deemster Turner said it was a horrifying case, adding that the defendant had murdered the childhood of his victims.
