Deputy Principal to take top job at College

Professor Ronald Barr
Professor Ronald Barr has been appointed as the new Principal at the Isle of Man College.
The Deputy Principal will take over from Dr Ian Killip, who is retiring this year.
Professor Barr came to the Island in 2007, having previously taught at Chester and Liverpool Universities.
Education Minister Eddie Teare says he has been impressed by the Professor, and that he will bring continuity to the role at a difficult and challenging time for education on the Island.
The college currently as around 8000 full and part-time students.
