Minister for Social Care has written a letter to all MHKs after questions were asked about the standard of new social housing on the Island.

 Martyn Quaylehas told his colleagues at Tynwald that the houses are good quality, energy efficient and provide the facilities required for modern day living.

The questions were in connection with the housing development at Lower Pulrose.

 

He also stated that the houses are not causing any major maintenance concerns, and that the spend on maintenence for the new houses is significantly less than most of the Government's current housing stock.
