Former vicar jailed for historical sex offences

A former vicar at St Ninian's Church has been sentenced to four years and four months in prison after being found guilty of historical sex offences.

82-year-old Graham Gregory was convicted of three historic indecent assaults against three separate victims committed between 1975 and 1990.

The victims were young girls aged between 8 and 13 years old - the Public Protection Unit praised the immense courage showed by the victims for reporting the offences.

Gregory will also be placed on the Sexual Offences register for an indefinite period of time.
