Fire crews cut two from car after Ballahutchin crash

The emergency services were called to the Ballahutchin Straight after two cars collided.

Fire crews were called to the scene shortly before 2pm yesterday.

Two occupants were trapped in one of the cars due to the damage, resulting in fire officers using hydraulic equipment to cut them free.

Paramedics gave those involved a precautionary check up at the scene, while fire crews ensured the vehicles were safe before they were removed from the scene.
