Weather disrupts travel on roads, sea and air

Weather conditions have been causing travel disruption on the Island this morning.

Police have been warning of icy road conditions, as well as trees down in a number of locations.

Officers are keeping their Facebook page updated with all the latest developments, and the Department of Infrastructure are working to clear the routes affected.

Meanwhile, the Steam Packet Company have delayed this morning's sailing to Heysham because of the gales.

The Ben-my-Chree will now depart at 9.45am, while the return service will set off at 3.15pm to allow conditions to improve.

The airport has also been affected by the weather, with several flights cancelled and others delayed.
