Sports Direct to open on Strand Street

Sports Direct has bought the Strand Shopping Centre.

The sports retailer has purchased the 40,000 square foot retail unit in Douglas.

Centre manager Louise Whyman says they're 'delighted with the acquisition' and are looking forward to more investment and the opening a new Sports Direct store.
