Harry Potter star to attend Island's Film Festival

This year's Isle of Man Film Festival will play host to one of the UK's most beloved actors.

Sir John Hurt will be guest of honour and will be interviewed live on stage by film critic Mark Kermode on September 12th.

The actor has appeared in the Harry Potter franchise, Indiana Jones, Dr Who and perhaps most famously the Elephant Man.

Festival organiser Zoe Guilford says he has always been top of the wish list:
