HENRY scheme aims to tackle childhood obesity

One in five young children on the Isle of Man is obese.

In an effort to tackle this the Department of Health and Social Care is launching the HENRY programme.

HENRY stands for Healthy, Exercise and Nutrition for the Really Young.

The aim is to provide a healthy start for young children with training to be offered to child care practitioners targeting babies through to five year olds.
