Nationalist graffiti daubed near governor's house

Nationalist graffiti has appeared overnight near to the entrance to the governor’s house.

The words 'Mec Vannin' have been spray painted in white on the ground at Bedstead Corner.

In 2010, there was an Island-wide campaign of nationalist graffiti and police took the matter seriously.

At the moment it appears that this latest attack is an isolated incident and there’s no indication that it is actually linked to the Manx Nationalist party Mec Vannin.
