Computers stolen in school break-in

Laptop computers have been stolen during a burglary at a primary school in the west of the Island.

The thief smashed a window at the back of Peel Clothworkers on Derby Road.

They then made off with three white Apple Macbooks worth £1600.

It happened sometime between Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

Police say the computers are used by children for their school work and are a valuable asset.

Anyone who saw people in the area of the school between those times is asked to call Peel Station on 842208
