Peel gets more one-way streets
Police are asking drivers to take extra care with new road layouts in the centre of Peel.
New road markings appeared yesterday and came into force this morning.
Derby Road is now one-way from Mona Street to Atholl Place - so you can only drive down the hill between those two points.
There's also new one-way system in place on Christian Street, where drivers can only travel up the hill between Atholl Place and Church Street.
Police say it's well signed and any competent driver should be able to understand it.
The changes are part of long-term road improvement plans for Peel.
