Douglas Death: Body still unidentified

Detectives are continuing to investigate the 'unexplained' death of a man in Douglas.

Police were called to Church Road Marina yesterday evening.

Officers confirmed the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Isle of Man Constabulary says officers are still working to identify the body.

A spokesperson said: "Due to the unexplained death of the male numerous enquiries are taking place to establish what has happened." 

"All roads are open in the area apart from Back Marina Road ( the entire road behind the Gaiety theatre). There may be some disruption in the area while certain enquiries take place."

"We again thank the public for their cooperation in this matter."
